German Pancakes

My mom made these German Pancakes when I was growing up, and my whole family loved them. We’ve continued making them for our kids and now they love them as well. We love having another option in the morning besides Pancakes and Waffles. I love that you pop it in and let it bake instead of the constant flipping and cooking you have to do with other breakfast foods.
German Pancakes
6 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
1 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
6 Tablespoons Butter
Preheat the oven to 400. Cut the butter into individual Tablespoons and place in a 9 x 13 pan. In a blender, add the eggs, milk, flour, and salt. Blend well. This is best done in a blender instead of with beaters. It doesn’t rise correct if done with beaters. Place the pan in the oven to melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, pour in the blended batter and bake for 25 minutes. We love this best with syrup.
These are very filling. We like having a fresh fruit smoothie to go with them.
